Model Taťána Makarenko is enduring one of the most difficult periods of her life as her husband, businessman Martin Pánek, faces allegations of raping a 16-year-old girl in Scotland. Pánek now risks up to ten years imprisonment.

Model Taťána Makarenko is in deep shock following the arrest of her husband Martin Pánek, who is under suspicion for the rape of a sixteen-year-old girl in Scotland. Pánek, who has been married to Makarenko for only three months, has spent twenty days in pre-trial detention and could face a sentence of up to ten years in prison.

Makarenko, who had recently celebrated her nuptials at a golf course near Prague, expressed her belief in her husband's innocence. "I believe it's a misunderstanding, and I am terribly upset. These are the hardest moments of my life," Makarenko told Super.cz. She lacks access to detailed information due to an information embargo and has to rely on her husband's legal team.

Legally, rape is defined as a sexual act performed on a person without their consent or in situations where consent cannot be given (for example, due to age, mental state, or consciousness). This act is considered a criminal offence and is punishable by law, with the severity of the punishment varying depending on the jurisdiction and specifics of the case.

Makarenko, despite her grief and uncertainty, stands by her husband and hopes for a positive outcome of the investigation. The case remains under investigation, and Makarenko, as well as the public, must wait for its resolution.
