Press Release

The European Justice Organization is raising concerns about deceptive online practices in Czechia, where certain commercial websites are exploiting public fear and financial distress for profit. Among the most problematic are RegistrDluzniku.cz and ExekuceInfo.cz, which:

  • Are not official debt registers of any kind,

  • Do not contain data from the Czech SOLUS debt register,

  • Do not access the official Central Register of Executions (CEE),

  • Do not provide any information from BRKI (Bank Credit Register) or NRKI (Non-Bank Credit Register),

  • Do not use data from the international Central Register of Debtors.

Abuse of Symbols and Public Trust

These websites feature graphic elements resembling the Czech national lion emblem, often in red outline, to create the impression of being government-run or officially sanctioned. As a result, many individuals – especially those in financial distress – are misled into paying fees (typically 100–200 CZK) for “reports” that carry no legal or factual value.

No Real Value, Just Repackaged Public Data

The European Justice Organization emphasizes that these websites are essentially reselling publicly accessible information – often available for free or at a lower cost through official channels like justice.cz – without providing any added value, validation, or authoritative context. The services are presented in a way that intentionally misleads consumers into thinking they’re dealing with an official registry.

Call to Czech Authorities

The European Justice Organization calls on the relevant authorities in the Czech Republic to:

  • Immediately investigate these deceptive commercial practices under consumer protection laws,

  • Block or redirect the websites in question to official government portals,

  • Publish clear guidance for the public on how and where to safely obtain official information about debts and enforcement actions.

Conclusion

The European Justice Organization will continue to monitor such deceptive practices and take appropriate legal and informational actions to protect consumers across Europe. Citizens are strongly advised to exercise caution when dealing with websites that charge for “official” reports and to always verify whether the site is genuinely linked to a government or authorized registry.
